Why Mobile Physio?

Can’t get to a clinic? Our fully mobile team has been home visiting throughout Perth for over 15 years.

Home visit Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology offers numerous advantages, enhancing the overall patient experience and treatment outcomes. You will receive personalised care in the comfort of your own home, allowing high quality treatment plans for those with mobility issues or chronic conditions.

In the home, our therapists are able to observe the patient in their own environment, identifying specific challenges and tailoring exercises accordingly. This personalised touch can lead to more effective rehabilitation, as the treatment plan is directly aligned with the individual's daily life.

Home visit physiotherapy is time-efficient, eliminating waiting times at a clinic and allowing for flexible appointment times. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with busy schedules or those who may face difficulties attending regular clinic appointments.

If you, or your family member, would benefit from our team coming to you, call today on 0477 934 546

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy, a specialised form of physiotherapy, it uses the therapeutic properties of water to address various physical conditions. This innovative approach harnesses water's buoyancy and resistance to aid in the rehabilitation and management of injuries.

In hydrotherapy, patients perform exercises in a heated pool, which promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension, and increases circulation. The reduced impact on joints due to buoyancy makes it ideal for conditions like arthritis, back pain, and post-surgical recovery. Additionally, the resistance of water provides a gentle way to improve strength and flexibility.

Hydrotherapy offers a wide range of benefits. It enhances cardiovascular fitness, reduces pain, and promotes overall well-being. The warm water can help soothe sore muscles and alleviate discomfort, while the controlled environment allows physiotherapists to tailor exercises to individual needs.

We have a Physioptherapist available at Bayswater Waves on Fridays and services at other pools are available on request. Call 0477 934 546 today to book your initial hydrotherapy assessment.

NDIS Mobile Services

In recent years, home visit NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology services have gained recognition as transformative options for individuals with disabilities. Our specialised approach brings healthcare professionals directly to the homes of NDIS participants, ensuring accessibility, convenience, and personalised care.

  1. Accessibility and Convenience: One of the greatest advantages of home visit NDIS services is the removal of physical barriers. By receiving physiotherapy and exercise physiology at home, individuals with disabilities can overcome mobility challenges, eliminating the need for transportation to clinics or facilities. This enhances accessibility and ensures that everyone has the opportunity to receive the care they deserve.

  2. Personalized Care: Home visits provide a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to gain a comprehensive understanding of the participant's environment, lifestyle, and specific needs. This allows for tailored treatment plans and exercises that are designed to maximize results and improve overall well-being. The personalized approach fosters a strong patient-provider relationship, promoting trust, comfort, and effective communication.

  3. Holistic Approach: Home visit NDIS services enable physiotherapists and exercise physiologists to consider the participant's home environment when devising treatment plans. They can assess and address potential challenges and hazards that might affect mobility and independence. This holistic approach empowers individuals to actively engage in their therapy and make necessary modifications within their living space to support their overall health and functionality.

  4. Motivation and Independence: Exercising and undergoing therapy in the familiar and comfortable setting of one's home can significantly boost motivation and confidence. It eliminates the anxiety and stress that may arise from unfamiliar environments and enables individuals to focus on their progress. This, in turn, encourages a sense of independence, empowerment, and a positive mindset, vital for achieving optimal outcomes.

Our NDIS registered therapists focus on individualized care, these services pave the way for a future where every person, regardless of their abilities, can thrive and enjoy a healthier, happier life.

Rehabilitation Post Stroke

Each year in Australia approximately 55,000 people will suffer a Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) and it is a leading cause of disability.

Following a stroke common symptoms patients may experience include weakness or paralysis, altered sensation, poor balance, reduced co-ordination, altered tone and joint pain. These symptoms will vary depending on which area of the brain is affected, and will affect the way we move and function.

Exercise is an important part of ongoing rehabilitation following a stroke to restore or optimise movement and mobility.  Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists will work with you to set goals and develop the most effective treatment plan to enable you to achieve these goals.

Treatments will be tailored to your individual needs and will include strengthening exercises, stretching, task-specific practice and manual therapy. Research strongly suggests the more active and involved a person is in their recovery the better the outcome.

As a mobile service provider we are able to come to you, allowing you to work within the comforts of your own home. We work with clients on all NDIS plans, Aged Care Packages and Private Clients.

Call 0477 934 546 or email admin@futurephysio.com.au to start your rehabilaition and recovery today.
